MY MOVE TO THE MOTOR CITY!
Yes, I traded in the warm weather for the winter weather, the beaches for the lakes, and, the Magic City for the Motor City. I'm now living and working in the "D" -Detroit that is- and enjoying every brisk bit of it! Why did I leave the sunshine state? FOOD FOR THOUGHT & TASTE ... CUBAN TO JAMAICAN!
When I moved to South Florida, I was determined to find a few good food places that reminded me of home ... the islands ... essentially a taste of the Caribbean. Here's what I found (so far): 1. Tropics Restaurant - Hollywood, FL Love almost everything on the menu! It is Guyanese-Chinese Style food. My favorite dish: Chicken Fried Rice - One order good for two!
